                  Tips about racing and breading
Never remove the pigeons in the flight compartment during the season. Even if the birds are not good, they should be left there. By removing bad birds, the other pigeons that remain in the farm may lose their rivals, rivals who have motivated them before. Bad birds should be removed AFTER the season of competitions. Do not leave a couple together for many years, even if they have reproduced good birds. In practice, it seems that, apart from some exceptions, the couple is together for a longer time, the better the chickens will be.Never leave the empty boxes open because it means mess later. Other birds will want to take control of these boxes , resulting in battles and broken eggs. During the contest season, you should not leave the pigeons out in the evenings during the rain. If they enter the wet night, they will not be able to dry, as long as they do not move in the dark. The result could be a drop in shape. Never try to save money by treating only the flying. If you feel you have to apply a medication, all the birds should be treated at the same time. Do not think that only breeders who have their own web page have good birds. The opposite is true in many situations.Do not think a bird is good because it has a good pedigree or because it comes from a renowned farm. If you want pigeons from a renowned farm, buy them directly from the breeder, not through others. Many renowned breeders compete with many birds. They have more poor birds than most farmers with few, but good birds, such as unknown breeders. So do not fall into the trap of the results published in the media. Some are due to an enormous number of competing birds, others to a poor competition.Do not think there is anyone in this world who can distinguish, with a 100% probability, a bad dick of a good one. You also do not believe in the eye mark. It is silly to believe that the value of athletes and breeding can be read in the eyes of racing horses, dogs or ... pigeons. Besides, you do not believe those people who claim to know how to pair the pigeons. Do not mix large birds with strong ones. Large birds do not mean powerful birds. The opposite is often true. Do not believe in forming a family of birds if you want to become champions. Many good birds are the product of crosses. A family of birds is good for sales, as long as many people prefer inbreds. Do not think that if you have a good flyer and his brother does not fly well, that means automatically that the brother is a good breeder. Do not combine long-range birds with gears, result in poor or mediocre birds.Remember that never a serious breeder will sell his birds that have proven to be good breeding. So, better buy chicken. Improve your chances and save money. Do not believe that vitamins will stimulate entry into shape, making you the champion birds. Do not leave your vitamins or medicines too much in the water, especially on the heat, as long as they expire very quickly. Remember that gravel (minerals, calcium) is the most valuable food supplement. And do not forget to refresh it periodically.Do not you think feeding is as important as many say it would be. Ask 10 champions about their feeding method and you will receive 10 different answers. Do not embark birds with water-goulash. These birds lack the condition. Do not retract the pigeons from the two-day stages to take them to one day contests. They will become slower. Do not believe that all that is said / written is true. He does not ask for the help of a veterinarian who has difficulty manipulating a pigeon. Do not engage in contests of birds whose feet are not clean, with rings so dirty that you can not read the series on them. Such birds are not in the best shape.
